Reset Service Interval Light Oil Change on BMW X3 F25 (2011-2017) in 5 easy steps
Here’s how to proceed when you want to reset the service light or oil service on BMW X3 F25 (2011-2017) in just 5 easy steps.

1. Turn on the ignition by pressing the Start Stop Engine button once. Wait for the warning lights on the dashboard to go out.
2. Press the button on the left of the instrument cluster for 5-7 seconds until you enter the Service menu. You will see the message „Reset possible” on the display.
3. Release the button and press the button once or twice until you see the oil symbol and the „Reset possible” message.
4. Press the button again and keep pressing until you see the message „Perform reset”. Then press the button again and keep pressing until you see the messages „Reset in progress” and then „Reset successful”.
5. Turn the ignition off by pressing the Start Stop Engine button.
To check if you have correctly reset the oil change, turn on the ignition again and check if you still have the oil change warning message on the instrument cluster display.
