TUTORIAL: How to install Android 10.0 Head Unit Car Radio (with rear view camera) on VW Golf Mk5, Mk6, Passat B6, B7, CC, Skoda Octavia 2, Fabia, Seat Leon
If you want to know how to install Android 10.0 Head Unit Car Radio 9 inch (H589N-H) on VW Golf 5, Mk5, Golf 6, Mk6, GTI, Passat B6, B7, CC, Polo, Tiguan, Scirocco, Eos, Multivan, Beetle, Sharan, Touran, Transporter T5, Amarok, Caddy, Skoda Fabia, Octavia 2, Octavia 3, Superb, Rapid, Yeti, Roomster, Seat Leon, Altea, Alhambra, Toledo, etc., here is a video that shows you how to do that in just 12 easy steps.

The Android 10 Car Radio H589N-H includes:
– car radio
– 2 power harnesses (you’ll use the one that is fitting for your car)
– radio antenna
– original car USB
– Canbus
– RCA cable
– CAM cable for rear view camera
– 2 x USB cables
– GPS antenna
First, connect the cables to the Car Radio:
– connect the power harness to the car radio
– connect the Cam cable to the car radio
– connect the Radio Antenna to car radio
– connect the GPS Antenna to car radio
– connect the RCA cable
Connect the red cables (AUX IN R cu AUX IN R) and white cables (AUX IN L cu AUX IN L) from the power harness to the RCA cables.
This Car Radio is using Android 10 operating system, supports CarPlay app, has RDS Radio, QuadCore processor, 2 GB of Ram and can be used using the steering wheel buttons. It has a 9 inch HD screen with 1024×600 pixels resolution. It’s from Seicane company, so I ordered from Czech wich I didn’t pay for taxes and VAT because I am from EU. The package arrived after 4 days.
1. Remove the plastic frame from the car radio
2. Remove the cables from the airbag light
3. Remove those 4 screws from the car radio using a T20 Torx
You could protect the gear shift knob using something to cover it
4. Take the Car Radio (RCD310 Head Unit) out and disconnect all the cables from the back
If your car has Logo Flip Rear Trunk Handle Camera, you should buy a Backup Camera Rearview RGB to Converter Adapter Box that you can find it in the video description below!
5. Connect the blue wire from the antenna to the blue wire from the power harness

6. Connect the black wire from the Backup Camera Adapter Box to the black cables from the power harness
7. Connect the yellow and brown wires from the Backup Camera Adapter Box to the brown cable from the Canbus (it could be a pink wire also)
8. Connect the yellow cables from the Backup Camera Adapter Box to the CAM cable (CCD AVIN)
Don’t forget to use tape to insolate the wires
9. Place the GPS antenna on the top or radio cage, inside the center console
If you choose to use those USB cables, you can connect it to the car radio unit and then you can go behind the radio unit and
take them out through the left side corner of the glove compartment
10. Connect the radio antenna to the car antenna and the power harness to the main cables of the car
11. Put all the cables inside the center console and then put the 4 screws back
12. Connect the airbag cables and the place the plastic frame bac.
