In this video tutorial we are going to show you how to replace cigarette lighter or 12V front socket fuse on a Mercedes-Benz C-Class W204 (2008-2014) in just 4 simple steps. You should know that are three fuse boxes located in three places. The first fuse box is located in the engine bay, on the left side of the car, the second fuse
box is located on the left side of the dash and the third one is located in the trunk, on the right side.

When you want to replace any fuses, make sure to replace it with the same color fuse or with the same ampere fuse. Otherwise you could overload the wires or even cause more serious problems to that circuit if you use a higher ampere fuse.
– a flat blade screwdriver (or a knife blade)
1. Open the trunk to locate the fuse box or fuse panel
2. Remove the fuse box cover
3. Replace the 15A fuse box from the 71 position and replace it with a new one
Use a flat blade screwdriver or a knife blade to open the plastic part from the fuse panel
Make sure to replace it with the same color and with the same ampere fuse.
4. Place the fuse box cover back and close the trunk
Then check if you cigarette lighter or 12V front socket is working.
