Mercedes-Benz C-Class W204 (2008-2014) Driver’s Door Inner Panel Removal in 8 Easy Steps.
Removing the left front (driver’s) door inner panel on your Mercedes-Benz C-Class W204 is an easy job if you have a few basic tools and follow the steps correctly. Purpose: changing or replacing the door inner panel or front, accessing the mechanisms (handle, speaker, glass, wiring, lock) for repair or replacement.
Estimated time:
– 20–45 minutes for a single door, depending on experience and whether you encounter hidden screws.

1. Lower the driver’s door window completely and then pry the plastic off the bottom of the window frame.
2. Pry that black clip off using a Long Nose Pliers and a trim removal tool.
3. Pry the tweeter off the driver’s door using a trim removal tool.
4. Disconnect the tweeter connector.
5. Remove the two bolts from inside the inner door using a T30 Bit Torx.
6. Remove the door panel out of the clips using a trim removal tool. Once the clips are released, pull the panel up slightly to release the top part from the guide.
7. Remove the cables and connectors attached to the door panel.
8. Remove the clips from the door panel using a trim removal tool and reattach them to the door panel.
