If you want to disable or disconnect the Start Stop System permanently on Nissan Qashqai, X-Trail, Juke (2013-2022), here is what you should do in just 5 easy steps.

Required tools:
– 10 mm wrench or socket: https://amzn.to/41CsXqj
– zip tie: https://amzn.to/3RZPyd4

1. Open the hood
2. Identify the Start Stop sensor and then remove the 10 mm bolt from it
3. Remove the sensor and put it in a place where it can’t be activated when you close the bonnet
4. Secure the Start Stop sensor using a zip tie
5. You can put the 10 mm bolt back in place.

If you have a different engine, without that small antifreeze tank, you can put the sensor in a different position. First, take a plier and straight that small metal and then put the sensor back in the horizontal position (to the ground) and place the bolt back.
