TUTORIAL: How to remove the rear center console air vent on VW Golf Mk5, Mk6, Jetta in 5 simple steps

If you have a broken rear center console air vent on a VW Golf Mk5, Mk6, Jetta, this is how you replace it or change it.

Necessary tools:

– T20 Torx (you can find 12-Piece Magnetic Torx Screwdrivers Set HERE: https://amzn.to/3s9GceR)

  1. Open the rear center console cup holder and remove the two T20 Torx screw
  2. Take the cup holder out from the rear center console
  3. Remove the piece from the center console
  4. Remove the air vent and replace it with the new one
    You can apply some silicone for plastic on the new air vent  
  5. Install the piece back on the center console and the cup holder.
