This VIDEO TUTORIAL will show you how to replace / change the key fob remote battery on a VW Passat B6, B7 and CC models.

Necessary tools:

• A flat blade screwdriver

STEP 1: remove the plastic key from the remote pushing the side button

STEP 2: press on the other side of the remote button to remove the silver part

STEP 3: split the remote key in half

STEP 4: remove the old battery and replace it with new one

The key fob remote is using a CR2032 12V battery.

Refit in reverse order all the remote battery parts.
