Required tools:

The fuel filter is located on the right side of the engine. 

Here is the maintenance kit for VW Tiguan 3, Passat B7, Golf 7, Skoda & Seat 2.0 TDI and we are going to replace the fuel filter.

We are going to replace the fuel filter with a Mann-Filter PU8028 that you can find it in the video description below!  

1. Open the bonnet and remove those 5 bolts using a T20 Torx

2. Lift the fuel filter cap and place it on the edge to drain the fuel from it

We have used a Mann-Filter PU 8028 fuel filter that you can find it in the video description below!

3. Replace the old filter with the new one and place it slow in the canister

4. Re-tighten the bolts back using a torque wrench and set the torque value for 4 Nm.

5. To make sure that you have enough fuel in the canister, turn the ignition on for at least 4-5 times.
