Required tools:

– Backup Camera Rearview RGB to Converter Adapter Box:
– RCA cable for reverse camera:
1. Remove the frame from the center console
2. Remove the cables from the airbag light
3. Remove those 4 bolts using a T20 Torx
You could protect the gear shift knob using something to cover it.
4. Take the RCD310 Head Unit out and disconnect all the cables from the back
5. Connect the cables to the new Android Head Unit
You’ll need this Backup Camera Rearview RGB to Converter Adapter Box for flip badge rear view camera to work.
6. Connect the Backup Camera Rearview RGB to Converter Adapter Box to the cables from the car
7. Connect the antenna cable
8. Place the GPS signal above the center console, inside
You’ll need a RCA cable to be able to use the Backup Camera for the VW Passat B7, CC trunk.
9. Connect the RCA cable for reverse camera to the Android Head Unit and the other end to the Backup Camera Rearview Adapter
10. Connect all the cables from the Android Head Unit
11. Splice together those two cables (brown and yellow) from the Backup Camera Rearview Adapter and also those two blue cables from the antenna
12. Install the new Android Head Unit on the center console, put the bolts back
13. Connect the airbag light cables and place the frame back.
