– a flat blade screwdriver
1: Pull the shift gaiter boot (leather) out
Lift the leather boot up over the knob to expose the clamp holding the knob on
2: Use a small flat blade screwdriver to loose the clamp
3. Pull the knob up and off the shaft.
Installation gear shift knob gaiter boot is the reverse of removal.
