This VIDEO TUTORIAL will show you how to remove front window regulator (assembly) on VW Golf Mk5, Jetta in just 20 simple steps:

STEP 1: pry out the handle cap

STEP 2: remove those two screws from inside the door handle

STEP 3: remove the T20 screw from the tweeter

STEP 4: remove those 3 T30 screws from the panel door

STEP 5: remove the inner door panel releasing it from the clips and slide it up

STEP 6: disconnect all the cables and harnesses from the inner door panel

STEP 7: remove those 3 screws from the window motor

STEP 8: pry out the plastic from the right side of the door

STEP 9: remove all the screws around the edges of the door

STEP 10: start loosen the T20 torx bolt from inside as much as possible

STEP 11: pull off the lock handle with a plastic tool (or a flat blade screwdriver)

STEP 12: release the cable from the door handle

STEP 13: pull out the door handle

STEP 14: remove the T20 Torx screw

STEP 15: take the door panel out

STEP 16: slide the window down

STEP 17: remove the screws from the window clamps

STEP 18: take the window out

STEP 19: remove the screws from the window regulator

STEP 20: take the window regulator out and replace it with the new one
