If you want to change / replace the wiper blades on your VW Golf Mk5 or Jetta you know that is a bit difficult: you can’t lift up the wiper arm enough to get the wiper off. And for that, you have to follow just 8 simple steps.

STEP 1: get in the car and turn the key in the second position and then turn the key off
STEP 2: push the wiper stalk down to lift the wipers up
STEP 3: remove the wiper arm from the windshield
STEP 4: put the wiper blade in horizontal position and take it out
STEP 5: to fix the new wiper blade, you have to put it in the horizontal position
STEP 6: put the wiper blade back on the windshield
STEP 7: get back in the car and turn the key in the second position (but don’t turn the ignition on)
STEP 8: push the wiper stalk down to put the wiper blades in the normal position
Don’t forget to turn the key off.
