1. Loosen the wheel bolts using a 21 mm socket and a ratchet.
2. Lift the car on the lift or use a jack and remove the lug nuts.
3. Remove the wheel.
4. Use a small car jack to hold the steering knuckle and then detach the cable from the brake pads sensor.
This is the cable that you need to detached from the suspension control arm.
5. Loosen the screw on the top of the front upper control arm using a 15 mm socket and a T50 Torx.
You have to hit easily with a hammer until you move it inside and then unscrew it using the T50 Torx.
Compress the upper control arm ball joint downwards to help release the bolt easily.
6. Remove the arm from the pivot by pushing up on the ball joint.
7. Remove the safety from the rubber on the ball joint using one or two cable ties.
You can use one or two zip ties to remove the retaining clip.
8. Pull the rubber down and insert the grease inside.
Make a few circular movements to spread the grease inside the ball joint.
9. Refit the rubber and put the retaining clip back in place.
10. Apply a few jets of silicone spray to the other two bushings on the front upper control arm.
You can find silicone lubricant spray below in the video description!
11. Lift the jack to secure the front upper control arm back in the ball joint and tighten the screw.
The screw is tightened with the T50 Torx to a value of 56 Nm.
12. Reattach the cable from the brake pad sensor.
13. Remove the jack supporting the steering knuckle.
14. Remove the jack from under the car, refit the wheel and tighten the lug nuts to 175 Nm.
Do the same for the other wheel on the right side.
And as you can see, the squeaking noise from the front wheels has disappeared.
