1. Turn the ignition on or open the central display
2. Insert the cable to a USB port from your car and the other end to the iPhone
Your car has to have already installed from the factory the Apple CarPlay before you want to connect to it
3. Select „Activate Apple CarPlay” on the central display
4. Select „Yes, I agree to the data transfer”
5. Select „Allow” from the iPhone when you see the message „Allow CarPlay with „AUDI MMI” while phone is locked?”

Now you can scroll through the features and see all the apps from your iPhone displayed on the screen
Not all the apps are supported, of course.
So you can use all these apps like Waze, Spotify, Google Maps, Apple Maps, WhatsApp, Messages on your screen in the car.
If you want to return to main menu, you just click on the MMI Audi icon and that’s it.

You can activate Siri by pressing for a few seconds on the Voice Command button on the steering wheel.
