If your having problems with the Hood Release Handle from your VW Golf Mk4, Mk5, Mk6, Jetta, Bora, Passat B5, B6, B7, Caddy, Jetta, Polo, Lupo, Tiguan, Touran, Golf Plus, Scirocco, Up, T5, Seat Ibiza, Arosa, Leon, Toledo, Cordoba, Skoda Octavia 1, 2, Fabia, Audi A3, A4 you should probably remove it and check it out to see what you should repair or replace.

Required tools:
– a flat blade screwdriver (or you can use your car key blade)
1. Pull the handle to have more access at the plastic clip that you have to take it out
2. Remove the plastic clip using a flat blade screwdriver
3. Pull the handle out
You can check the mounting bracket to see if there’s a damage and you’d have to replace it.
