In this short video tutorial we are going to show you how to reset tire pressure monitoring system light (TPMS) on VW Golf Mk7, Jetta (2013-2019) in 4 simple steps.

For tyre pressure monitoring system to operate normally it must initialized whenever a tire pressure is adjusted, the tyre rotation is performed, a tire or a wheel is replaced, the battery is replaced or completely drained, or when the Tire Pressure Monitoring System warning light is illuminated.

First, allow the tires to cool and then adjust the tire pressure to the specified pressure indicated on the tire pressure label. The tire pressure label is located on the sticker inside of the tank flap.

1. Switch the ignition on (don’t start the engine)
2. Open the glove compartment
3. Pres and hold the „SET” (or the tire pressure monitoring system) button until the tire pressure monitoring system warning light in the instrument
cluster turns off
4. Release the button and switch the ignition off.
To check if the reset was successfully done, switch the ignition back on and see if the tire pressure monitoring system warning light in the instrument cluster it’s still on.
