How to check / verify the real kilometers / mileage on VW, Skoda, Audi, Seat with VCDS (VAGCOM) in 4 steps
If you want to check or verify the real kilometers (mileage) on your car (VW, Skoda, Seat, Audi) with VCDS (VAGCOM) we are going to show you how to do that. Just follow the steps from the video below:
You can find VCDS (VAGCOM) scan tool for Volkswagen, Audi with best quality HERE:
1. Start the engine
2. Connect the VCDS cable to the OBD2 port of your car
3. Plug the VCDS (VAG-COM) cable into any USB port on your laptop
4. Click on VCDS software that you have already installed on your laptop and select:
Options / Test / Ok / Save / Select Control Module / 17-Instruments / Adaptation-10 / Documented adaptation channels can be selected here / Mileage/Odometer
Here we check if the value from the “Stored Value” is the same with the mileage from car display.

Again we check if the value from the VCDS is the same with the mileage from car display.
