TUTORIAL: Iveco Daily, Peugeot Boxer sloppy gear stick, great difficulty aligning the stick when changing gears?
Do you drive an Iveco Daily or a Peugeot Boxer and you have great difficulty aligning the stick when changing gears to select the next one? Your gear lever stick is very sloppy and it is easy to accidentally select the wrong gear? Then maybe you have the same problem that we have and showed in the video where the plastic bal or socket at the bottom of the gear lever is worn. The cost for this gear stick is between 50-150 euros.
That plastic ball from the gear stick mounting wears out and makes the gear change sloppy. Try and lift the stick upwards, if there’s play up and down its worn.
