TUTORIAL: How to manually release & unlock Gearbox selector on SAAB 93, 95 in 3 steps

Required tools:
– a flat blade screwdriver

1. Keep the foot on the brake pedal and then turn the key to the OFF position
2. Use a flat blade screwdriver to press the little button
3. …and simultaneously shift the selector lever in N (Neutral) position.
