For tyre pressure monitoring system to operate normally it must initialized whenever a tire pressure is adjusted, the tyre rotation is performed, a tire or a wheel is replaced, the battery is replaced or completely drained, or when the Tire Pressure Monitoring System warning light is illuminated.
To reset the tire pressure monitoring system you have to follow just 4 simple steps:
1. Allow the tires to cool and then adjust the tire pressure to the specified pressure indicated on the tire pressure label
The tire pressure label is located in the in the driver doorjamb
2. Switch the ignition on
3. Pres and hold the tire pressure monitoring system button until the tire pressure monitoring system warning light in the instrument cluster flashes twice and the beep sounds once
4. Release the button and switch the ignition off.
